I'm like a Moth to the Flame with these. If you'll note the Tree in
the right we were and still are "Breezy". 10 minute avg's of 20+ mph and (so far) max recorded gust of 46 mph, or ~77 kph for the Mile challenged ;-). Crazy Ed |

Crazy Ed Love them pics Ed! I have never been to your region of the country. I was wondering if it was dangerous to walk in the grass outside your wall. Do you have a lot of snakes or other dangerous things there? BibsBro Merrimack Valley |

Do you have a lot of snakes or other dangerous things there? It's lot's safer than walking the Streets of Boston. Is it dangerous to walk in the grass? No, you just have to be aware of what's around you. If you look both ways before crossing the street you'd most likely never have a problem out here once you learned when to look both ways. As too do we "have a lot of Snakes or other Dangerous things", I guess the answer would require knowing what you consider " A Lot ". If seeing 2 or 3 Snakes a year is a problem OH YEA, but we've only got 2 kinds of Dangerous Snakes out here - Rattlers (several verities) and Coral, but many nonpoisonous Snakes, so there have been years when I've seen no Snakes to fear and one where all the Snakes I saw were not to be played with. I guess the Critter most likely to ruin a good day out here is a Bark Scorpion. But if you're a Healthy Person between 4 and 80 the worst it has to offer is a VERY uncomfortable sting. The Bottom line to any discussion along this line is "What are YOU comfortable around"? I grew up in the "Suburbs" and spent time both in the Wilds and Urban areas. The Wilds are consistent for the most part. If you aren't threatening me I'm no threat to you (Unless you look like Dinner ;-) ). Urban areas require you know "Today's Rules". I'll take the Country. Crazy Ed Thanks for your reply Craz. You're absolutely right about city life. I'm only about 25 miles north of Boston, but I haven't bothered to visit the big city in over 20 years. By looking at your photos its easy to see you appreciate nature. Thanks for sharing! BibsBro |

I'm ~70 miles from Tucson and manage a quick visit every 2 years or so. By looking at your photos its easy to see you appreciate nature. Yep. Crazy Ed |
