Near the end of August the jet stream migrated to the far north allowing hot
air from the south to settle in Alberta. And it stayed there for a good month. The first 3 weeks of September saw most days in the mid to high 20's, even exceeding 30C a few times. This picture ws taken on the 27th, the first day temps settled back to normal but the sky was still clear. It's all over now of course with today being overcast with a howling wind and snow forecast for the weekend. Two Jack Lake in Banff, 8 frames using Autostitch. jim |

We have gone from mid 20sC to single digits in a matter of a week-still lots of sun tho and a possibility of a mix of rain and snow soon. You know I'll post the first snow pictures as soon as it happens so you can say "OMG-Snow???" Here is the other pic I took that day-the lakes share a common mountain. This is the place (Lake Minnewanka, Banff NP)where the world-famous "squirrel" picture was taken a while ago-you may remember I posted a picture of one along with my bike. Around 10 frames with Autostitch. I printed a 7"x36" version. At 26MB it was nicely sharp. Tried to stitch a bigger one but my computer crashed. jim |

![]() Lately we've been I the low 70's (your low 20's) but havent seen the upper 40's (your 9) yet. As too the Snow, well we get it every year. The difference is generally later that same day here you'd never know it! As to your Crash, I'd guess you need more Memory if you're planning to play with the large format images. Crazy Ed |
