Last night the temperature was -15C which we are NOT equipped for. I
wore a jersey in bed! Today the sun came out.

Those are the kind of Pictures I really enjoy looking at and knowing I
wasn't there to take ! ;-)
So was that you next to the Snow Queen or the artist ?

That's the Snow Queen's owner and co-builder.

Our fire station built a family of snow giants out of the snow they'd
shovelled off their forecourt. There's a drunk snowman leaning on a
dustbin opposite the end of this road. I've had reports of one asleep
on a park bench on the other side of town. The university students
built all sorts of stuff - arches, castles, towers. Someone had lifted
a huge slab of trodden packed snow off a forecourt and propped it
upright then put a tiny snow finial on top of it. Now that icicles are
available we'll want to sort the Queen out a sceptre!
