real pseudonym) writes First photos showing up at Spaceweather.com are pretty good display. http://spaceweather.com I woke up briefly in the wee hours (sorry, didn't check the clock) ... found all cable channels were off ... Have anything to do w/ the solar storm? This was in Tennessee, w/ Comcast ... Sj Forgot to say that all is back to normal now ... Sj Knowing Comcast, it was probably squirrel farts... It cleared a bit overhead but all I could see to the north was green flickering clouds, lasers shooting at the police helicopter, groups of ignorant peasants who thought it was something to do with the Olympic Games... then I woke up with my head on the keyboard. -- Sue ];( ![]() |
