Let see if this works.
Set up METAR ... there should be a map that pops up via your internet connection. The METAR report can be downloaded automatically by schedule if you like. NOW I suppose you are using the Internet verions of VWS? I personally don't use METAR. There is another way of doing this ... it involves setting up a file and I haven't done that enough to be sure I could tell you right. I think the NOAA.GOV or FTP.NOAA.GOV ... try both. HA HA.... I hope this is a start at the least. You are welcome to look at www.kb0irv.com and check out my website just for grins. It isn't special, but I am kinda proud of it. Sort of like a momma who loves her ugly baby. Ray. (KB0IRV) "Bob Terwilliger" wrote in message nk.net... I am using Ambient Virtual Weather Station. VWS appears to have a feature where I can FTP download various weather reports. I am particularly interested in Miami, Florida. What are the FTP addresses for such reports? See my weather page: http://www.twigsdigs.com/weather/ And my hurricane resource page: http://www.twigsdigs.com/hurricanes/ Thanks, Twig |
