Default Isabel Moving Left of Forecasts

I've been half-interestedly following this hurricane since my experience in
following these as a layman has been that most of the Atlantic ones are much
ado about nothing and turn out to sea. But I notice that Isabel has been
moving due-west for over a day after the models forecast her to be moving
west-north-west. When will she likely start moving more northward and what
meteorological effect will cause that to happen? Why have the models been
expecting to happen that hasn't happened so far?

Bob

the ridge above it has broke down as expected
if this keeps up for another 48 hours the east coast could be in real danger

Dunno, but the East Coast is like a cesspool and this hurricane is really
going to clean thing up a bit.
