Default Why is this?

You have maybe asked it only from Americans. At winter I'd like to have so
much snow as possible and I am a man. The thing is, that yearly snowfall
amounts in here Estonia are pretty big. Before it began melting, snow depth
was nearly half a meter in some places!

When talking about snow.
If you ask a man how many inches he would like, most men will answer
something like "as little as possible"

Ask a woman how many inches she would like, and most women answer
something like "the more inches the better".

Why is this? Is it because the man is the one that usually has to
shovel the snow, or is there another reason?
