Currently a Cat 5 storm but nowhere near as large as Katrina, the wind field
is expanding but it would have to double in size in order for it to be as large as Katrina. It will move over cooler water tomorrow and early friday causing eyewall replacement cycles resulting (hopefully) in significant weakining. Rita is still expected to reach Texas as a major hurricane. ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Uncensored-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 120,000+ Newsgroups ----= East and West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =---- |
