Oceanography of the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric
Science. Low resolution visible and infrared imagery is collected daily
from the NOAA sun-synchronous polar orbiting satellites. Low resolution
observations (4 km.) are collected globally while high resolution
observations (1 km.) are collected from selected areas of research
interest around the globe.

There is even more on here including resources for data on CD (dated
and rather pricy now in the era of cheap DVDs. Still they might have
updated by now. The list is full of stuff whose time frame ends in the
1990's. A lot has changed in the last 10 years.)
