Odd the epithites on here failed to pick this up.

[6.3 2007/01/08 20:52:21 -18.489 -177.914 FIJI REGION
6.0 2007/01/08 17:21:51 39.819 70.260 KYRGYZSTAN
6.1 2007/01/08 12:48:41 8.104 92.466 NICOBAR ISLANDS
I got side tracked trying to see if there was a link in their plots on
a globe. Where the two Asian uakes are that perfect angle apart the
distance to Fiji is not quite right at 90 degrees from Nicobar and 115
from Kyrgyzstan.]

Now we have the reason that the weather in Britain has been topsy
turvey:

7.9 2007/01/13 04:23:21 46.311 154.440 10.0 EAST OF THE KURIL ISLANDS

http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/...quakes_all.php

Funny thing I had to get up about then and I usually check the NEIC
chart first thing but not today. The weather was exceptionally warm for
the time of year so I went out to see if I could get cold.

Ah well, off to work in the real world.

I wonder why the recently revamped website still insists on shouting.

Things are still looking odd on this site:

Either this will be rewritten after model runs have caught up with the
power drain that just took place or there is more of the same to come.
Look out for Friday (at which time there is a change of phase, too.)
