I was trying to setup my client to connect to streamyx nntp server. The
first lady I spoke to gave me the address as : nntp.streamyx.com. Did
not work. I called again to the helpline and the person who answered
didn't know what was nntp and I had to explain to her. She said she
will consult someone but when she came back she also didn't know what
is nntp.

A brief search found streamyx users using : news.tm.net.my as the nntp
server. I tried that, found the server but it refuse to log me in. I
had tried, exhaustively, various combination of my username and
password without any success.

Any help would be much appreciated.


LOL !!!!!
Only people use TmNet (streamyx, tmnet dialup, celcom 3G) can connect to
news.tm.net.my
and no need to set username and password.
