Default Hourly seismic data forms a perfect crescent. Check it out.

U.S. West Coast Region (Oregon Center) near perfect hourly arc
formation.

Here's one of my earthquake forecast charts. Check out the top chart:

Nature does some weird things.

PS I'm always looking for data to forecast. If anyone knows of a
precip link for east or west coast of USA please let me know.
