Also a definition of "subtropical storm" might be helpful. A somewhat

I saw a discussion about this on another board and the consensus is
insurance companies are pushing this distinction so they can deny
coverage under "homeowners" and defer to the less inclusiive
"windstorm" insurance.


interesting. maybe the lawyer guy understands the relation between
volcanoes and the stock market. lol

Back to Chantal. Being a being always in transition, the sloppy looking
asymmetrical beast called Chantal is only 100 miles or so off the coast
here.

A feeble burst at convection is now reduced to the odd flare-up.

The next MONSTER is 99L with good rotation.
