This has been an interesting spell. It still is. At least the rest of
this day to go it isn't due to expire until the 19th.

I was getting leg cramps for tornadoes but saw nothing confirming my
suspicions on the US weather warning site. Then this turned up in my
in-box just now:

All very sad considering the extent of terrible events in the USA
alone so far in this spell. Some bright spark making light of a
previous post has it that California has four or five seasons. I get
the impression the country has been visited with half a dozen of them
so far this week.

Interesting. Depressing of course but interesting. Not a bad example
of the exegesis of a people in denial.
