Tonight looks to be one of the coldest of the year across the Northeast.
So why not have a little prediction contest. The idea is to predict
the coldest temperature observed by any standard METAR-reporting station
in the Northeastern US by noon tomorrow. The station must be east of the
Mississippi and in the US (including Canada would make it a bit too
tough.)



I think last night might have been colder in the eastern townships and Northern
Maine...

Watertwon, NY (ART), Berlin, NH (BML), Whitefield, NH (HIE), Caribou, ME
(CAR) and Fort Kent, ME (FVE). But you can use any station you want.

My prediction: FVE, -31F.
