So why not have a little prediction contest. The idea is to

the coldest temperature observed by any standard METAR-reporting
station
in the Northeastern US by noon tomorrow. The station must be east of
the
Mississippi and in the US (including Canada would make it a bit too
tough.)

My guess is -20F at Saranac Lake, NY.
