![]() I have been fortunate to have spent quite a few days on the beach this last month. The weather has been quite enjoyable, but I came upon a bit of a puzzle. As the afternoon progressed, it usually became windier, sometimes very windy, and I often wanted some way to quantify approximately how windy it became. What would you do to measure the wind speed, even approximately, using common beach-going items? - Steve Stein -- This article was auto-posted by the ne.weather.moderated Weatherbot program. There are other items such as swimwear but that's getting lecherous. -- This article was auto-posted by the ne.weather.moderated Weatherbot program.
