I remember an incident that took place in my house which I grew up in,
when I was 7 or 8. I was standing in my sister's bedroom, watching a rather nasty thunderstorm that was going on outside. The bedroom was actualy the end of the hallway converted into a room, and it had several windows that were next to eachother, giving a nice panaromic view of the outside (which was partialy obstructed by trees. ![]() and right before the thunder, I saw a horozontal "static bar" right infront of my eyes, which looked just like a bar of static you would see on a television screen when an appliance is first turned on. I don't think it was an optical illusion, or a small bolt of lightning, because the "bar" was "superimposed" over everything in my FOV, including the window frames. Could this have been the RF from the lightning strike setting off some of my eye's visual receptors, creating the "bar" I saw? |
