Default Frances: South Florida strike more likely?

If you look at the infrared loops at

http://mywebpages.comcast.net/herbwx/irloophurr.html

the remains of Gaston appear to be interacting with the La.-Maine trough and
dragging it up along with it, to a more east-west configuration. Some folks
on another board I'm following are saying that this is happening ahead of
schedule and will open the door for a more westerly course for Frances since
the receding trough will allow the Bermuda high to build more westerly.
Still, Frances is moving along the WNW track forecasted by the NHC.

What is the interpretation of the experts here?

Jason
