Hello!
Category 2nd Northern storm is causing some strong winds in Estonia. In my home area, winds are reaching force 6 on Beaufort scale. It is very windy, but sky is clear clear. Winds are 17 to 31 knots in Kuressaare according to http://www.eeke.ee/meteo/Weather.htm . http://ilm.transcom.ee/ says that in Pärnu, wind is blowing 13,7 gusting 16,1 m/s. http://meteo.physic.ut.ee/?lang=en says also about strong winds. http://meteo.physic.ut.ee/en/showperiod.php?type=day is last 24h scale. At http://www.emhi.ee/?nlan=eng you may find Hirlam models and meteograms for Estonia and some foreign countries (http://www.emhi.ee/?ide=16). Well it is windy and let's hope that winds will die out soon. I like thunderstorms much more than northern storms... Tarmo Tanilsoo |
