Default Climate: Earth's heat balance in the red

Also, China
and India - rapidly upcoming manufacturing megapowers -
don't give a **** about CO2 and aren't about to let
CO2 put the brakes to THEIR big chance to shine.

I think they, like the Russians, care about their children too.

They may care about their children, but not about their health. If you
have ever driven on the streets of a predominately Indian society, like
I do each day, you will soon realise that they do not care too hoots
about emmission control. When I first got here I thought some of the
vehicles had actually caught on fire until I finally got close enough
through the voluminous cloud of smoke to realise it was coming from the
exhaust pipe after all. I am not just talking about an isolated
incident either. It is more the rule than the exception. You can bag
the US all you like (I do) but L.A. on a bad day has cleaner air than
many of the streets of India and China. As these countries get richer
they are going to have a lot more badly maintained cars on the road.
