The best I have done as far as the EArth Air-Conditioner is to consider
putting aluminum sequin into orbit reflecting enough sunlight that we control the temperature per year. On the news several nights ago was that of a Russian launched submarine rocket that had solar panels to unfold and collect sunlight and perhaps put the rays of energy to good use. The objection I have with Solar Panels to solve global warming is that we would build them on land whereas the oceans take up about 70% of the surface. But perhaps the 70% can be compensated for by solar panels in orbit. So, maybe Solar Panels is a superior engineering design for Earth's Air Conditioner to solve global warming. Superior because we can collect the energy rather than reflect it into outer space that the aluminum sequin would do. And also, the solar panel idea would allow for control of the entire system eventually, whereas the aluminum sequin does not have that control. So some future date we could concentrate the panels and stop hurricanes in their track. So I now suspect that the Solar Panel idea is superior to the aluminum sequin. The best I have done as far as the EArth Air-Conditioner is to consider
putting aluminum sequin into orbit reflecting enough sunlight that we control the temperature per year. How would that alter the net biological productivity of the earths surface? -- "We must create a economic crisis in order to ensure that there is no alternative to a smaller government." - Bush - Imprimus Magazine 1995. "We seek to remove resources from the control of the state, thereby starving it." - International Society for Individual Liberty - NeoCon Libertarian. "Throughout his term, Bush has implied tax cuts would starve the government, paying for themselves by causing budget deficits that, in turn, would place heavy pressure on Congress to lower spending." - Jeff Lemieux - Senior Economist - Progressive Policy Institute. "They have an agenda which is to starve the government of revenue. But in order to get it through, they keep on having to pretend that the tax cuts are affordable, and so they've been suppressing the likely cost of everything, including the war on terror." - Paul Krugman - Economist. wrote in message ups.com... |

How would that alter the net biological productivity of the earths surface? -- Martin, I am not happy with aluminum sequin. It is not controllable and as you indicate it would alter the biology of plant productivity on Earth. It is certain that a Earth Air Conditioner will be built for that is where Global Warming is driving civilization. And the benefits exceed the costs. What I mean by control is that I would like something up there such as solar panels that we can orient differently from the ground as we please or chose to do so. With Aluminum Sequin we have no control once it is released. But perhaps aluminum does not survive up there long enough to warrant a control problem and so the constant restocking of the aluminum would be a form of control and so the Space Station would be the restocking platform. So the Space Station would be a form of control for aluminum. I suspect no scientific biology study has been conducted as to whether Global Warming has increased or decreased net biological mass. Some temperate climate trees are moving northward and the cold regions of earth are seeing new plants never seen there before. But also some species are dying and extincting such as the reef corals. My guess is that biological mass of Earth remains somewhat constant regardless of increasing Global Warming. Now if we had a Ice Age we can say that biological mass was reduced significantly. What I hope to do in these series of posts on Earth Air Conditioner is to fully anticipate and lead the human civilization into the building of it. It has to come to reality because I simply cannot imagine human civilization exploring outer space of the other planets in our solar system coming back to a planet Earth that has no air conditioner. It would be similar to saying by Aristotle or Plato or Archimedes or Leonardo that civilization would someday fly in the sky and send a man to the moon yet every human goes home to a situation where no home has a air conditioner. But there has been progress on my part, in that I believe I can prove that no chemical with a chlorine or halogen atom will be the basis foundation of a Earth Air Conditioner and that a proof that all chlorine based molecules will end up as heating up Earth and never cooling it down. A proof that no chemistry of chlorine or halogen molecule can act as Earth Air Conditioner lead me to aluminum as the basis foundation of Earth Air Conditioner. So some progress has been made. What we need now is some experimental test of how aluminum sequin works. Whether it works well. Can we simulate the upper atmosphere here on the ground?
