Your statistics are all absolutely correct. I am happy to agree with
you as you have wasted your own time adding up figures. It is not the statistics that are in question and repeating them doesn't address my criticisms this time, as it has failed to address them all the other times. What is in question (apart from your sanity and maturity, which I think have been amply demonstrated) is the link you claim between this weather trend and the climate trend that is global warming (which I am a firm supporter of, despite imbeciles like you giving us a bad name). You have offered no justification for that link, and I have given you numerous citations that indicate the link is tenuous at best. I have also given you a cast iron, copper-bottomed, scientifically valid citation that explains why we should all be extremely concerned about the global increase in energetic storms and its direct link to climate change. And yet you continue to support the untenable position. Why? (apologies to other readers for the repeat of this message, but the other topic was getting repetitive, and this is the essence of the rebuttal.) |

Hoggle--I admire your intelligence, even though I believe you are too
quick to jump on the AGW bandwagon. We would benefit from having more posts from you on this NG, which I am about to abandon. I might jump to your moderated site, though inertia keeps me here for now. This NG is not for rational debate; it has as much useful information as a bathroom wall on an interstate freeway does. RL |
