Recently, I have heard a lot about Belfort Instruments in Baltimore,
Maryland. In my opinion (and others), Belfort Instruments lacks what it takes to be a leader in the field of instrumentation. I also have read much about them, and talked to various individuals about their practices "behind the scenes"! Based on this, I would think that anyone should do their research first before making a purchase! Form there, I'm quite sure that they can find a first-rate business where maybe their dollars are better spent. They may also find that they endure less aggravation and end up with a system that works as it is supposed to do .... the first time! I also know that they do NOT treat their employees well! Most first-rate employers value and reward hard-working individuals .... Belfort appears to do just the opposite! Personally, I use my Digiwx cupholder as a urinal. Maybe Belfort would be better suited to go into the bathroom instumentation business ....where they've got a leg up on the competition! |

Indeed a little research does show that the author of this dribble is the
same person who on 11/8 and several prior occassions posted similar postings. One can easily trace back the news posting identity. Rusty is correct, this person was let go, and NOT under the the circumstances he would like you believe. I know I surely wouldn't want a back stabbing individual working for me! We've had an incredible amount of success with Belfort's instrumentation in the aviation sector and from a collecting standpoint (having a Belfort barograph which still works like clockwork 60 years later). A very upstanding company. wrote in message ups.com... Recently, I have heard a lot about Belfort Instruments in Baltimore, Maryland. Well, so now someone thinks they are a detective!! Self taught did you
say! Whomever you are, you and Rusty appear to be the village idiots! You got it wrong in your so-called "easy tracing"! Do you represent Belfort Instruments? And you call your current or former employees "backstabbers"? Just such a statement only confirms what I have heard and witnessed about Belfort Instruments. Your company is second-rate, at best! No, I never have worked for Belfort Instruments nor would I want to! My observations are solely from the way Belfort conducts itself and the way it represents itself! And as your email suggests, you operate in a very unglamorous and unprofesional manner! And based on what I know and my research of your company, one could draw the conclusion that your company conducts it's business in the same sort of manner! And, even from your post, one can see into your simple mind! Having a barograph working for 60 years is your IDEA of success! Whoop -di! the successes which you describe are based on your perceptions maybe not what the industry thinks of your company! Therefore, your head is clouded by your paycheck! Looking back 60 years to find something successful about your company in the high-tech age, just shows how you operate. I bet you still sit and ponder who ever discovered that a round wheel was more conducent to mobility as opposed to a square wheel! Bravo lad, your thoughts and "modus of operandi" are right on target! I should say, I would expect great things coming from the Flintstones gang at Belfort Instruments! Maybe right at this very moment, you are contemplating creating a thermometer which doesn't utilize mercury! Your organization is simply wonderful! Simply wonderful! heck, maybe I shall put in a job application, I would look like Einstein to you guys! What's with all this 2nd person references there man? Who ever said I worked
for Belfort? Hell I don't even live within 2000 miles of Maryland. Your paranoia and manipulation of the English language makes Bartlo look like a Saint on these newsgroups. On the contrary, I stick behind companies that deserve to maintain and acquire new business. You're doing nothing more than giving them MORE business because now people go to look there for information, only to find out how successful they are. Weather companies don't stay in business for that many decades for nothing my friend. They have provided our airport, along with my own collection, with some of the most reliable and accurate instrumentation I have ever used, and they have the support and experience to back it up. We are a test bed for instrumentation, and the quality and caliber in which their systems are designed and manufactured is great. I have no problem defending what the data show and the very low maintenance hours show. Good luck with your job search but please don't take personal bitterness out on any of these respected (sans ne.weather) newsgroups or the company that did you in. With lawsuits flying left and right these days, persons aren't terminated unjustly. You might want to ask a few questions to the right folks instead of taking your anger out here. Listen, cock, I never presented myself as a detective or did any "trace work" I merely asked if you were a disgruntled former employee because you sound like one. And now you sound like even more of a disgruntled employee. Hmmmm, many opinions expressed and a lot of names called!
Let me say, Rusty, at least I was not caught playing with a gay man in his car behind the 7-11 right down the street from your house! And, Michelle, you sound like a real BIOTCH! Isn't your man giving you any! You individuals seem really confused! When flying, do you not want to be using the safest industry equipment to insure that you arrive safely during adverse conditions? With so much being said about Belfort Instruments (like some of their equipment not being inspected or licensed by the FAA), wouldn't you WONDER what is going on. I do NOT work for Belfort Instruments. However, even if I did, and I still told you the same story, would it make a difference. Why couldn't even a disgruntled worker be making a absulute truthful point! It is all in the labelling, I guess! Labelling, is easy! I know, every employee who was ever fired, is disgruntled ... they are wrong, and the company is right! Are you REALLY this narrow-minded? Finding the truth, is much harder! Thus, I have heard and read many things and credible facts which makes me question what is going on at Belfort Instruments. Afterall, they supposedly make equipment which is supposed to supply vital information to the flying industry. If they have internal problems, maybe they do NOT want people like you to know! I have found in many instances where information surfaces, there is much truth in such information. How many soldiers were exposed to radiation during atomic bomb testing? Including the public? How many people have been tested against their will with psychadelic drugs? How many people have been abused by the police? How many workers have been exposed to dangerous substances in the workplaces? And, afterall, isn't it all about money? And, who controls the money ... most of it, any way ... businesses and the government! I might also add, I have seen much information posted on the internet and have researched some of it, have either of you? Maybe rather than resorting to personal attacks, you might research the topic with an open mind! Afterall, do you want to be flying one day, and some of these problems which has been reported effects your safe travel. I believe that representations in such an industry must be factual and cutting corners on products and materials just doesn't cut it! Personally, I do not want to place my life in equipment that may be inferior to another suppliers equipment! Heck, how you receive information is not too important, it is the accuracy of that information! Heck, maybe you just love your tee-shirts which says something like Belfort Instruments were used by the Wright Brothers! Don't let your minds be cluttered with mis-information that you fail to see the real truth. Again, I am not an employee of Belfort Instruments ... but personally from what I know ... well, frankly, they SUCK! If you love and trust them, then by all means rely on what they tell you .... go purchase a few demo units from them!. But, then you become the fool, when you find out for yourself about something that you were already told. From what I have learned, I would not purchase from them or believe what they tell you. If they are operating in the RED, what would you expect them to tell you? If they are under investigations, what do you expect them to say to you! Heck, they are probably buying shredders and cleaning house! Michelle P wrote: Why feed the troll? wrote: Recently, I have heard a lot about Belfort Instruments in Baltimore, Maryland.
