The Microwave Sounding Unit (MSU) is a satellite mounted instrument which
measures atmospheric emissions.

The fact that the instruments now find open water where there used to be sea-ice at this
time of the year causes the resulting temperature anomaly to appear to be much warmer.

So the lack of ice means that the data is suspect and has nothing to do
with it having melted?

I want no more to do with you and these idiots.

Say what you like.

In article .com, says...

Not the point at all, but you have no clue, so run away and hide.
In case you might really be interested in science, here's a graphic which
displays actual temperatures:

You are the idiot, as proven by your own words, such as this blatantly
incorrect statement, which you have not admitted to:

"I may be making a mistake in assuming you know what you are talking
about, though you don't seem to know that it is common knowledge that
the Arctic is denuded of ice and has been for a year or so."

Just to set the matter straight, It's not a matter of running away and
hiding as no loger having any wish to waste my time with you and your
kind.

What I do has a purpose. Whether or not I am an idiot doing it is a
moot point that will only end as another prolonged argument. If you
have nothing greater set as a purpose in your life, I aught to feel sad
for you but all I get is tired.

Merely being the last one speaking, is pointless. So get on with your
pointles gawp without me.

Default A novel theory of Global Warming: RITS = ENSO

But answer this: how can you square the fact that the peak of the El

Coincidence? There was no man made CO2 (or very little) back then.

How do you know when the El Nino peaked?

We know ENSO peaked back then because if you read the articles in this
thread, they say so. A scientist, with no agenda save science, says
so. ENSO has a cycle, and the last cycle peaked around 800AD+, when
there was a warming period.

Ergo, man-made GHGs may not be responsible for ENSO.

Ergo, ENSO may be responsible for GW.

Ergo, further research is needed on the AGW = GW hypothesis.
