A RECORD DAILY SNOWFALL OF 8.3 INCHES WAS SET AT BUFFALO ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 12TH. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD FOR THE SNOWIEST DAY IN OCTOBER OF 6 INCHES WHICH WAS SET ON OCTOBER 13, 1909 AND AGAIN ON OCTOBER 31, 1917. THE CULPRIT FOR THIS RECORD SNOW WAS THE EARLIEST LAKE EFFECT SNOW STORM ON RECORD TO HIT THE CITY OF BUFFALO. $$ NIZIOL Doesn't the NWSDAY end at 1AM (since its LST)?
