Hello,
I am new to this group, I hope that somebody can help me with a hint on the following question: For a specific location on the globe, I have daily data of global and diffuse solar radiation (on the horizontal), given as daily as well as hourly values. I also have the monthly mean temperature and the monthly mean temperature range for that location (i.e. only one temperature value vs. a lot of radiation data). Is there a method to estimate / approximate the variation of air temperature in terms of _daily_ average temperature* and daily temperature range**, depending on the radiation data? In other words, given a particular day with its values of global and diffuse radiation and given the monthly mean temperature and monthly mean temperature range: would it be possible to estimate daily average temperature and daily temperature range for that particular day? * In this case: daily average temperature = ( Tmax + Tmin ) / 2 ** In this case: daily temperature range = Tmax - Tmin Thank you very much for your help!
