Dear CraMFar: Do you like being led around by your little nose ring? Calculate the yearly ratio of major hurricanes to total hurricanes over the last 25 years. Do the same for the ratio of super typhoons to total typhoons. Plot the result. Note that the fraction is increasing, suggesting that, as Emmanuel predicted, the storms that do exist will be on average larger. hth -- Bill Asher |

You're debating the media, why do you wish to debate people with PhD's? Why are you so dead-set on "Human Caused Global Warming"? Please learn to think outside the Liberal toy box. hth |

Yours is obvious and, frankly, very seventh grade, maybe even younger. Want to have a second crack (no pun intended) at yours? I mean, you are always so happy-go-lucky and now you seem a little, well, ****ed off. Anyway, didja do the plots? How come you guys are all like "do science!" until someone actually asks you to do science and then you are all like "don't like science?" What is up with that anyway? I think the issue is that none of you skeptics really understand any of this climate stuff enough to have a coherent discussion and stay on topic. Did you even read any of Kerry Emmanuel's papers on cyclone intensification and figure out for yourself what precisely the issue is? I suspect that you, like all the other skeptics, get spoon-fed the issue-du-jour and parrot it faithfully back here. (Some ****** somewhere claims that decreasing hurricane frequency means climate isn't warming and you read that and start salivating like a rat pressing a button for a pellet of food.) Display some deeper understanding. Explain to me why the increasing likelihood of a storm becoming a major cyclone is not a symptom of a warming climate. -- Bill Asher |

You're taking ONE weather event and extrapolating that it is a SIGN of global warming. BTW, I never said Global Warming wasn't happening. I said MAN didn't cause it. Did MAN cause the previous half a dozen Ice Ages via burning fossil fuels? Can you not see how silly it is to blame man's activities on something as complex and powerful as our climate? I only need to point to the gloom and doom of the Kuwait oil fields on fire. People suggested it was going to hurt EVERYONE on Earth. The fires were put out and nothing happened. |

Or are you all like CramFar, FooFoo, BilBo, C-Babe, and RoidRage, who can't remember what they posted, sidestep issues, get even the most basic facts completely wrong, can't remember whether they are citing empirical results or model output, and when pressed resort to invective? Goddamn you skeptics are all a sorry lot intellectually. It is no wonder you are getting your asses kicked on the political stage. The only one who still believes any of you is that idiot Inhofe and maybe the even bigger idiot Rohrbacher. Even Gingrich, when he isn't banging some woman to whom he isn't married, thinks you are all full of crap. Y'all need to educate yourselves and come up with some credible science. -- Bill Asher |

I hope you included both parties. Neither Democrats or Republicans give a damn about what America needs. They both rob you blind with fear of Katrina type events or the 9/11 fears. I'm worried about the 'carbon tax' which WILL happen in America. |

This will be the utopia liberals dream of.... |
