Already tied the daily record (58 F) in Ithaca at noon, then
some sun came out. Expecting a new record at 1 pm.

Cheers,

63 F in Newtonville, Mass. Winds from south are stronger
than expected at 25 mph.

Atypical - quirky.

Atypical at the least. 70 F in Syracuse tied its January
record Tuesday. Then 79 mph wind gust there yesterday,
but now trending slowly toward normal. Oh well, we'd
be out of business if the weather was constant. :-)

Cheers,
Russell

Thanks for the info. BTW, like dentists we'll never go
out of business.

Except dentists have real qualifications, and you've never passed a
course in meteorology.

You are giving SGM inaccurate information and I ask you
politely to stop it.

Why did you take this terrible risk to your reputation?
Do you not think it will catch up with you?

I don't understand. What I said was correct so far as I know. You've
never passed a course in meteorology. I have said that before and
you've never given any evidence that I'm wrong. If you do have such
evidence of course I'll apologise. That can't harm my reputation. What
would harm my reputation is making claims about myself I can't back
up.

By coincidence, I have just been invited by someone to join the MAWS
list. Hopefully this will encourage me to get my own weather station.
But I won't call myself a meterologist even if I end up with a weather
station and join the Weather Underground, which I'll do if I get
myself a station. Probably an Oregon Scientific one. The WMR-100 in
fact, which I see has just dropped in price.

You seem to have more experience with David than I do, Doug. What do
you think his gig is? Why do you think he goes from group to group
proclaiming himself this, that, and the other thing without any proof
or credentials to back up his claims?
