GISS Land-Ocean Index dives in Jan 08, exceeding drops for UAH and RSS satellite data http://wattsupwiththat.wordpress.com...nd-ocean-index... trends-for-uah-and-rss-satellite-data/ And who is this "expert" that Bonzo here quotes regularly? (crap cut You don't have to take Anthony Watts' word for it, you can check out the data for yourself and see there WAS a 0.75 C drop between January 2007 and January 2008 http://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/ta...LB.Ts+dSST.txt - A. Since it doesn't, you now call it WEATHER. Can't have it both ways MMMMMMMOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNN !!! |

Nope, you are still too stupid to know the difference between climate and weather, even after you have been told dozens and dozens of times. Is the Climate sunny where you are today Spammer? Is the Climate above or below freezing where you are? Are they calling for a dry or wet climate for tomorrow? MMMMMMMMMMOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOONNNNNN N |

Climate is no indicator of weather, and weather is no indicator of climate. Ergo, weather and climate are not related. |

Didn't expect snow in Greece or Saudi Arabia did you Vendicar? What's the probability that this will happen with exponentially increasing worldwide temperatures? I'd guess somewhere between slim and none- A. McIntire |

Anomalous weather phenomena are expected to increase due to global warming; *snow on the Mediterranean MAY be such a sympton. *It might be prudent to assume that it is, as opposed to latching onto the snow as simplistic false proof that there is no warming. That's wrong! With more CO2 in the atmosphere, there would theroretically be little change in the tropics, where the CO2 effect is swamped by water vapor. Most of the change in temerature would be in the dryer areas closer to the poles. The average temperature gradient between equator and poles would drop, REDUCING weather volatility- A.
