Not exactly answering the question, but certainly showing some interesting trend of bias and agenda. No bias, Dunderbar, beyond the simple fact that when masses of people are starved they get mad. So far the masses that are starving are due to a stupid response (Ethanol) to a non-problem: globull worming. Masses are starving due to Liberals that aren't starving. Thomas Malthus explained the inevitable occurrence of food shortages over two centuries ago. And he was wrong. As annual global average food supply has not increased in line with population increases, he seems to have been spot on. Starvation was on the decrease until the madness of the AGW biofuel agenda started pushing food prices up recently. Malthus did not engage in dotting 'i's and crossing 't's. He observed the rather obvious connection between two fundamental variables and extrapolated likely trends in each. Obviously Malthus couldn't foresee the madness of the rabid socialist biofuel agenda! Oh. So market forces are because of socialism, are they. You need a few lessons in how global capitalism operates and its differences from demand economics. |
