Default Where Did This Group Go?

Where there just too many nuts plying their trade here, or what?

Just ignore them; kill-file if possible. Stop feeding those cretins like
Bonzo and they'll eventually get fed up with talking to themselves. Also,
it doesn't help when people cross-post to the loonier newsgroups.

Here's my crossposting scoring entry (for slrn):

% Crosspostings.[*]
Sco: -9999
Newsgroups: .*,.*,.*
%EOS

Basically, anything posted to three or more groups gets tossed. And I
use it on all newsgroups, not just s.g.m, and it is a nice filter for
the multiposted garbage.

It mostly takes care of the ranters.

isn't looking good, either.
I am BOFH. Resistance is futile. Your network will be assimilated.

Hi David. Long time, no [input form of communication here].

As has been mentioned, cross-posting bandwidth wasters have
made it a place I seldom even check anymore. This isn't the
only one.

Cheers,
Russell
