Latest Satellite Data Show Continued Warming.
The satellite record, in all its current interpretations, shows that the air near the surface is warming too. For background on the satellite temperature proxy please see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satelli...e_measurements The URL below is one of the more conservative records from the University of Alabama at Huntsville. http://vortex.nsstc.uah.edu/public/m.../tltglhmam_5.2 The global data are graphed he http://members.cox.net/rcoppock/UAH-MSU.jpg The Remote Sensing Systems Lower Troposphere (TLT) analysis shows a 0.18K/Decade rise over the land and sea. http://www.remss.com/data/msu/monthl...cean_v03_1.txt The data from 82.5N to 70S are graphed here; http://members.cox.net/rcoppock/RSS-MSU.jpg - It takes about three decades to establish a climate trend |

While we know that the little ice age was a regional phenomenon, we don't have a good handle on why the gradual cooling of the period occurred. "Peter Franks" wrote So what was the cause(s) of the climate trend during the Medieval Warm Period? Natural climate variability can account for about .5'C of variance in the earth's surface temperature. Current temperatures are 1.5 times that. Well outside of the range of natural occurrance. |

Don't follow this moron off topic, Vendicar.
This post is about Satellite data. Again with the name calling. You can't answer the question. Here, there, anywhere. I guess your position can't be scrutinized. Have a nice day. |

![]() "Peter Franks" wrote Again with the name calling. Sorry MORON, there has been no name calling. Only classification. Observation and Classification are the first steps in the process of science. |

Again with the name calling. Turnabout suddenly not fair play when your pals arent the ones doing it? lol You can't answer the question. Here, there, anywhere. What's your answer? Don't forget your cites. I guess your position can't be scrutinized. Only a moron would believe that off topic straw man question impinges on Roger's statement. Are you off your meds, or should we reclassify you at this time? |

You can't answer the question. Here, there, anywhere. What's your answer? Don't forget your cites. I asked the question, it has not been answered. I guess your position can't be scrutinized. Only a moron would believe that off topic straw man question impinges on Roger's statement. Are you off your meds, or should we reclassify you at this time? I've asked the question in numerous threads, some new. The question has not been answered. I see that you have to resort to name calling as well. |
