How do you work that out ? Does the 100kW alternator, electronic drive control and wheel motors come for free ? (Assuming the battery replacement costs don't overwhelm everything. AIUI the battery pack lasts 5 years.) It sounds like you are thinking batteries for a Plug-in instead of a hybrid, the hybrid should have some super-caps plus just a few batteries, a lot of battery is not needed for a hybrid. That's COMPLETE ********. The 'super caps' are only used to recover regenerative braking energy because you'll damage a battery if you try to charge it that fast. A 'super cap' might get you 1/2 mile down the road at best. For Christ's sake please read these things up before spouting PURE **** like you just did. Graham |
