By subsidy usually.
Pretty well all the Wind Farms and Solar plants only work if they are
subsidised.
Thats why you wont see any multi gigawatt Wind Farms or Solar Plants.
Anyone who is on the receiving end of something that is subsidised
will invariably make a lot of money.
Ask yourself where does all the money that is taken out of peoples
pockets thru emissions trading go.
