You will notice that coal itself is not taxed. So whats the differance , AGW wise of burning 1 tonne of coal in China to burning 1 tonne of coal in Australia. makes the same amount of CO2 , but the latter attracts a carbon tax, but the fomer doesnt. Just goes to show how deceitful emissions trading is. I like your idea. Graham |
