Default Internetland is a strange place...

This is where an average person like myself
can attract all kinds of outrageous pests with
absolutely innocent behavior on my part.

Take Doug Weller, for example. Doug actually
belongs on sci.arch but over a half year ago he
took to SGM and elsewhere to denounce me
as a non-meteorologist on a non-stop basis.

At first his attack deeply hurt my feelings. Now
it just rolls off my back like water on a duck.

Then again, Globalchange Group moderators
kicked me off half a year ago because I came
on too strong on Svenmark, Archibald, Singer etc.

However, I had only wanted to stimulate discussion
without necessarily endorsing their views 100 %.

So, the important thing is that for anybody who has
known me over the years - they know that
meteorology is in my blood...

Once a meterologist, always a meteorologist.

(and yes, still a meteorologist)

It's little compared to soc.religion.quaker,
sci.archaeology, and soc.history.ancient.

However, I tried diplomacy with a few of them
and was successful in remaining neutral on
the climate change theme for a time.

Further, meteorology is a science...
