Sure, there is a number of scientists that agree there is some AGW, but it
not really making changes any greater then temperature swings we seen the
past anyway. In other words, it not something requires us to spend billions
on something that is not a problem.

In other words, who is going to pick the correct temperature?

Bjorn Lomborg is a perfect example of this (a political scientist). In fact,
MANY scientists see benefits to warming and if you look at history, MOST
warming has been associated with improved wealth and improved agriculture.
(especially now that we have so many more people living outside of tropical
temperatures -- any cooling in these areas has DISASTROUS effects on food
production.

For example, has often pointed out that due to heat, you likely get 5000
deaths in a year. However, due to cold, it can cause 10 times the amount of
deaths due to lack of food, and decreased immunity when one is cold +
hungry.

So, it for many, it is a cost benefit issue.

So, even for those that believe that man's co2 is effecting temperature, it
is such a small amount as to not worry about. Furthermore there is a number
of people that have concluded there are MORE benefits to warming anyway.

so, for many of these people..it is a win win situation.

After all, who's to say the tempature now is the ideal one?
