Default Sierra winter matches Farmer's Almanac prediction

http://www.sierrasun.com/article/200...c%20prediction

"The Old Farmer’s Almanac predicts weather
based on solar activity, climatology and
meteorology."

Since their track record is good, why not
take a closer look at their methods by
googling for their forecasting philosophy?

Why play games? Why not just tell us what their "forcasting
philosophy" is?

Because my training for most of my adult life is
as a teacher. So, I usually make "interested parties"
do their own work to investigate and explore, which
is part of the educational process.

Howsoever, since I have been rudely attacked off
and on as flying under the false colors of a professional
meteorologist out of bad USENET karma, I decided to
give insight into accurate climate prediction by hinting
that Farmer's Almanac is onto something. So, THE
SUN DRIVES EARTH'S WEATHER.

Satisfied?

Peace out,
Dave - and yes! with emphasis still a professional meteorologist,
and all the king's men cannot take this away from me.

Everyone knows that. So do lots of other things.
