It was about a presentable professional politician debating with a typical balding scientist about the economic problems facing the USA now that Peak Oil has passed. The future of mankind, if global warming takes off (droughts, wild fires, hurricanes, floods (yes, we will get them as well as the droughts)) and as a result global famine (which will affect the USA too because when the Hispanics are starving they will move north in LARGE numbers)) is bleak. But it is going to be decided by the US Senate, whose electoate don't realise global warming is happening but do know that the world was created 6000 years ago. God help the mankind! Cheers, Alastair. |
