snip.. Australian nut job's denialism in the face of obvious facts.

For the last hundred years, or so, sea levels have been slowly
increasing * ~1.8mm per year..

Bloody hell, I was hoping to get that a house in Palm Beach for half
price. Is there any way to speed it up? Soil erosion maybe?

Yeah. I'm moving into Coolum next week. I was hoping that the coming
disaster might have taken down the million dollar property prices.
No such luck. DAMN YOU GLOBAL WARMING! WHERE ARE YOU WHEN
WE NEED YOU!

But thanks to manmade CO2 emissions the story has changed, for the
worse...

We're NOW *on track for a NOMINAL sea level increase of 1.1 Meters by
the end of this century.

Follow up calc's *on rate of sea level increase acceleration..

By 2199 sea levels will be 4 meters higher than 2009.
By 2299 sea levels will be 9 meters higher than 2009.
* And the melt will continues past that point. ..

Note: These are NOMINAL (low end, current trend projection) numbers,
the actual melt rate/sea level increase could be far higher.. (Depends
on mankind's CO2 mitigation efforts.)- Hide quoted text -
