flush Carl's latest hobbyhorse Did you forget that Fock Snooze has been riding your hobbyhorse for you? Have you noticed that there are more than three networks now? Or have you had your head up your ass since the seventies? |

It's been all over the news. You might want to be a bit more discerning about what sources you use. This reich-wing bb and the WSJ are not exactly referred journals. -- Tom When Tyrants tremble, sick with fear, And hear their death-knell ringing; When friends rejoice, both far and near, How can I keep from singing. |

Respectfully, I believe your own prejudices are getting in the way of your understanding of the climategate story. I am a meteorologist (synoptic meteorology under Prof. (MIT) Sanders) with a degree in political science; this is not you. Don't overlook that here the report concerns the 3 networks. Further, the NY Times has yet even to mention Dr. Svensmark of Denmark for his work with cosmic rays influencing cloud cover. So, there has always been difficulty for mainstream US press to cover the climate story accurately. (Eric Stevens of sci.archaeology once brought attention onto Dr. Svensmark and called his work Nobel-prizewinning.) Here's a heads-up; follow in close detail Brett Anderson's Global Warming Blog. (I respect Brett professionally as a meteorologist and for his integrity.) - http://www.accuweather.com/global-wa...her&traveler=0 Also, I think you are under-estimating the integrity of WSJ to get on the story. Earlier, I gave the link to Prof. (MIT) Lindzen's brilliant article. His commentary is authoritative. If you think differently, I want to hear why. ----- The Climate Science Isn't Settled Confident predictions of catastrophe are unwarranted By RICHARD S. LINDZEN (Mr. Lindzen is professor of meteorology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.) http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000...p_mostpop_read ----- David Christainsen - Meteorologist |
