Another Green myth deconstructed...
http://www.c3headlines.com/2010/01/o...eans-acid.html http://sppiblog.org/news/ocean-acidi...ng-scare-story http://sppiblog.org/news/new-sppi-pa...ion-scare-film Read here and here (yes, both from same blog). All? 100%? Well, we are not aware of any peer-research that claims the oceans are actually going to become acid. Oceans are naturally alkaline; they might become slightly less alkaline if all human CO2 were absorbed by the ocean in a single gulp. The alarmists claim that CO2 gulp will make oceans inhospitable to life as they will be more acid-like. Four simple word response to this bizarre fear - 'not going to happen.' "Our harmless emissions of trifling quantities of carbon dioxide cannot possibly acidify the oceans. Paper after paper after learned paper in the peer-reviewed literature makes that quite plain. Idso cites some 150 scientific sources, nearly all of them providing hard evidence, by measurement and experiment, that there is no basis for imagining that we can acidify the oceans to any extent large enough to be measured even by the most sensitive instruments." We've written about the bizarreness of the ocean acidification scare before. The leftist/liberal climate alarmist scientists and activists are doing incredible harm to the science community, the empirical research process and the scientific method, and the ocean acidification tactic is just the latest insult. More importantly, these same climate scientists who practice science fraud are the same leftist science elements who are willing to openly threaten democracy because they are unable to convince the public even with their bogus science. |

Then why do you just cite a couple of right-wing blogs and none of the research? giggle Read here and here (yes, both from same blog). All? 100%?
