Leonard, step back and look at the 30 year record. Quit
being so stooopid.

• YOU are the stupid one worms!
You are looking at cooked data and then
telling me to look at it as if it were the holy
grail.

• I have been in the Arctic in winter. I know
what it is like to be out in -50+F. (The
thermometers we had then froze at -50.)

• NSDIC plays fast and loose with the data.
They play fast and loose with the data. They
did a scan early in October and then released
the data inDecember claiming it was in
November.

• So when they claim the ice is growing by 26%
from '07 you have to believe it was 40%.

• Not long ago we got a paper claiming the
global temps would be 5° C "over the pre
industrial period, and the Arctic would be free
of ice in the summer by now. So what??? The
Thames was still freezing in 1850. It was the
tail end of the 800 year year "Little Ice Age",
the test run for the real one we can expect to
begin in about 50 years.

•No government agency in the world is giving
out 'real' climate data, only in part because the
CRU crew and Hansen's GISS/NASA bunch
have been giving out cooked data. Bureaucrats
only give their governments what they think
they want to see.

• Anthropogenic global warming is an hoax. The
"Medieval Warm Period" was warmer than any
time since. (Greenland was green) but that
ended over 1,000 years ago.

• Between now and 2050 we are going to have
lots of extremes (hot & cold), violence
(earthquakes, volcanos, tornados, etc) so you
might as well prepare for them. If you don't
do not come to me— I don't expect to live
mush longer.

| In real science the burden of proof is always
| on the proposer, never on the sceptics. So far
| neither IPCC nor anyone else has provided one
| iota of valid data for global warming nor have
| they provided data that climate change is being
| effected by commerce and industry, and not by
| natural phenomena

What's the Difference Between Weather and Climate?

The difference between weather and climate is a measure of time. Weather
is what conditions of the atmosphere are over a short period of time,
and climate is how the atmosphere "behaves" over relatively long periods
of time (at least 30 years).

When we talk about climate change, we talk about changes in long-term
averages of daily weather. Today, children always hear stories from
their parents and grandparents about how snow was always piled up to
their waists as they trudged off to school. Children today in most areas
of the country haven't experienced those kinds of dreadful snow-packed
winters, except for the Northeastern U.S. in January 2005. The change in
recent winter snows indicate that the climate has changed since their
parents were young.

If summers seem hotter lately, then the recent climate may have changed.
In various parts of the world, some people have even noticed that
springtime comes earlier now than it did 30 years ago. An earlier
springtime is indicative of a possible change in the climate.
