The last 3 or 4 winters have been colder- more like they used to be in the 60's. (There are more polar bears than ever before, up north, I'm told.) How are they doing in Europe this winter? john |

Which means that all the breathless worrying over melting Ice caps and the rest is all fake. If global warming is actually real (and actually it is, it's just that it is very minor and hasn't changed during the industrial and post- industrial ages) then clearly the ice caps would be melting and the sea levels rising. They are rising. Exactly 1.8mm per year for the last century. No "hockystick". No increase with industrialization and fossil fuel consumption. In other words you are a shill and a liar. You have a political agenda (from the Club of Rome) and you intend to keep practicing the "Big Lie" technique to further your financial goals. Why don't you answer these charges? You can't because you know they are true. Why don't you just STFU. I think you've already reached all the people stooopid enough to be swayed by your lies. |

Sam, you raise some good points but you miss critical physical evidence. The sea is one damn big heat sink, and around the globe ocean temperatures are on the decrease, and have been so for over 50 years. It's no big shock for real scientists to learn this. Earths climate pendulum swings back and forth, and it is the consensus of real physical scientists that the climate maxima has been passed, and that we are actually (possibly for the first time) looking at the beginning of a new ice age. Global warming notwithstanding! The deal here is that it has nothing to do with man's contributions, but due to the excentricity of the earth's orbit around the sun. The problem is that these changes in climate require thousands of years for a single cycle, censequently they are difficult to detect in the short term. While this is an interesting question to scientists, commercial firms reap great wealth in the promotion of these uninformed ideas. Take the legendary hole in the ozone layer as a simple example. Billions of dollars in profits were made when CFCs were outlawed, to be replaced by other refigerants that are more costly and have no demonstrated benefits over freon. Money makes the wheel go around! The same is true with corporate promotion of the Global Warming scam. Over the past 3 years, my heating gas has doubled in price, although it comes from the very same gas wells in Louisiana as it did previously, piped in through the "Big Inch" pipleline just as it alway was. Obviously, this price increase is do to Global Warming! In fact, I do believe that Global Warming is a myth dreamed up by business interests to increase their profits astronomically, and perperpetuated by fuzzy headed liberals who are so stupid that they don't know to come in out of the rain. There has been no global warming for 15 years. That is climate, not weather. And it's a travesty, according to the alarmist climate whackjobs themselves, that they can't explain it. And you are fast becoming a laughingstock. Socks |
