Joe D’Aleo and Anthony Watts http://wattsupwiththat.com/2010/01/2...ature-records/ David Christainsen ------------ Looks like a condensed (6MByte pdf) review of http://www.surfacestations.org/ Surface temperature data compilations are hopelessly contaminated by UHI effect. Attempts to remove the UHI are also corrupt. There is no possible recovery of data because the UHI parameter is never quantified. However, a few rural stations exist without UHI corruption. Examples are the antarctic scientific stations, and some others with known stable surroundings. These stations show zero warming. |
