You are forgetting something. The oceans and atmosphere are *big* and
take time to heat up, current estimate is that the lag is about 30 years
or more (and even that's not taking into account deep ocean
temperature).

In other words most of the temperature rise from the 200 - 400 CO2
increase hasn't happened yet.
