Vicky Pope, head of the climate predictions programme at the Met Office's
Hadley Centre, was stuck at Gatwick airport this week, a victim of Britain's
brutal cold snap.

You still haven't worked out the difference between weather and climate
yet have you?

Ironically, she was on her way to Cancún to announce, together with the UN's
World Meteorological Organisation, that 2010 had provisionally tied with
1998 as the hottest year on record!

So what is your prediction for the year's temperature?

You seem remarkably unwilling to give one, even though you keep on
posting articles about cold weather. It's almost as if you know you are
bull****ting. Surely not?

People that are being dishonest often betray themselves in that way.
They use examples that actually point the other way (and unconsciously
know it) "consensus science is no good -- look at the germ theory
of disease" kinda thing.

Somewhat related, when someone is unwilling to put their name to
their propaganda -- hiding under a nym (or pile of shifting nyms) --
and try to change their work practices to avoid detection, they
typiucally go way too far and have a large negative correlation with
their puppet master. Posting under "alter" from work, posting from
"prime ego" at home.
