The "standard claim" (i.e., observed facts) is that this increase has raised Earth's average temperature by 0.79c No. You are quoting what the CO2 count is, but you have no evidence that the count is due to Human Activity. Actually we do have hard evidence but deniers pretend there is none. The same labs that monitor CO2 concentration also monitor the isotopic ratio and it is clear that the additional CO2 is coming from fossil fuels from the increasing proportion of C12 in the atmosphere. http://cdiac.ornl.gov/trends/co2/iso...-graphics.html The graphs also show that most of it comes from the heavily industrialised northern hemisphere - check the south pole trace. They also monitor consumption of O2 from the atmosphere - a technically much more difficult measurement over the past couple of decades. http://scrippso2.ucsd.edu/ You are exposed as an anti-science lying dittohead. The earth has warmed many times in the past, long before Human Beings had anything to do with it. Certainly the CO2 has risen since the industrial revolution. but measuring it has also come about during the industrail revolution. And you can't prove what it was a million years ago. You can't even prove what it was 200 years ago. You also can't explain why the average temperature in the worlds 100 largest cities has gone down during the last 20 years or so. That is utter gibberish. Most of the worlds major cities are now heat bubbles because of airconditioning in summer and domestic central heating maintaining higher household ambient temperature in winter. The only ones that have cooled are where major industrial hot steelworks and foundries have largely shut down. Regards, Martin Brown |
