To even contemplate a 'cold winter' nowadays is madness. It ain't gonna
happen...
But yes, I agree, imagine some of those cold winters we used to get down
south... some of these southern softies...

The forecasts are always rubbish, but they used to be better, in my opinion.

It's interesting that forecast nowadays have given up on mean wind speeds.
Instead using gusts to sensationalise things.

How bad was last nights forecast ?

Being a regular outdoor activist, one thing I have learnt in my time, is
that I cannot rely on a BBC Forecast to plan my day, or the day...

Regarding *temperature*, in Kent, or anywhere else South of the Thames,
September is most definately a summer month.
